Eid prayer is always 2 rak’ah and saying that it is to be prayed 4 if prayed in the Masjid, this is baseless and it is an innovation.

We found in one Book with the title “Important lesson for muslim Women” compiled by Amr Abdul-Mun’im Saaleem when its said that if we have a reson to pray Eid prayer in the masjed must ofer 4 rakah not 2 rakah like in musalla.And this is not reffer to the Tahiyatul Masjid…rather to Eid prayer
