We celebrate it because Allah has given us these days to celebrate and we follow the sunnah of our prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam.

We are now in India after retirement and we miss Ask HUDA Tv, Sir my question is why do we celebrate Eid Al Adha as someone ask me in debate but they were not satisfied to my answer,please advise with the correct answer

was the ka’abah covered by al-kiswah (drapes) at the time of the Prophet (SAW) and were there anything written or embroidered on it. Some people have criticized that the name of the donor is written on it and the Kalimah Tayyibah removed. They say that it is the House of Allah, so why is the name of anyone else written on drapes. Is there any religious significance to al-Kiswah?
