Calligraphy is permissible even with Quran but not to hang these verses as a portrait. You can write proverbs or even the hadeeth of the Prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam.

wat is the Islamic ruling regarding doing business with islamic calligraphy i.e writing quranic verses and even the mushaf and selling them to earn your living.
