This is from Satan. You are married for 3 years, why this subject came now? Don’t let shaitan interfere between you two.  Having a wedding party is not an essential thing in Islam and the marriage is valid without it. As long as he prepared a dinner and invited some people to it, this is sufficient.

Today my husband let me know that because I am not an Arab woman, he doesn’t ask me for wedding party. We got married three years ago. Is his thinking ok about no wedding party because I am not an Arab woman?

Could you give advise in light of quran&sunnah? A muslim sister did her nikaah in presence of a wali she chose by herself (not her Father), 1 witness (2nd couldn’t come), and her husband to be. Then she left with this man she married. Her parents didn’t agree. I told her this nikaah is not valid. She doesn’t listen. What do you think about the situation?

I recently had my nikah performed alhamdulillah. But we had it performed in a masjid, and my bride was on her menses at the time! We stupidly didn’t realize it was haram for her to be there on period. Is our nikah invalid, I am freaking out!
