ANSWER:

The authentic hadeeth states that we must not leave a vessel uncovered at night as there is one night in the year where an illness descends and affects any uncovered vessel.

There’s a concept among some people that food and water should not be left open even for half an hour or it should not even be kept open in one room and you are in another room because it will be possessed by satan and we should not eat and drink it. Please explain about the above.

My family is celebrating my brother’s birthday at our home who just turned one.
