ANSWER:

 A layman can’t pick and choose what he likes without being a student of knowledge who knows Arabic as this would be cherry-picking 
You can’t pray istikhara for such issues 

There is an issue of dispute about a fiqh issue. I researched very well the 2 opinion.Approached scholars. I choose the opinion which is very strong about evidence & also the majority. Now my mind says to me maybe ur opinion wrong. do Ishtikhara may be Allah will give you hints which is right. I’m afraid of being confiused after doing that. If I avoid Ishtikhara sinful?

We know that all the rulings(halal, haram, sunnah, makrooh and muba)in islam are fixed by Allah.So, when we hear the dispute among the scholars like one scholar said this particular act is haram while the other said it’s permissible. So,the scholars who we agree with, can we say that this particular ruling has been made permissible or haram by Allah while there are other opinions of many scholars backed by strong dalil?
