The hadeeth refers to arrogance and not pride. This translation is wrong. One is allowed to be proud of his country that rules by Islam and defends it.

There is a hadeeth which says “if anyone has an atom of pride in our hearts one would not enter paradise” does this include if one is proud of one’s country or religion?
