ANSWER:

Do not argue with them nor defend yourself as all what they want is a negative reaction from you. Ignore them and don’t go to such events without the need to justify your decision. 

The day i said that i wouldn’t go to the mix gathering wedding then both verbal and physical fight have started. They are saying you can go to market that’s okay but going to mix gathering wedding is bad,you are bad and all that..
