He was the brother in law of our Prophet, one of the Quran scribes and one of the companions may Allah be pleased with him! Those talking about him negatively are hypocrites.

Some people argue a lot about MUAWIYAH IBN ABI SUFYAN. My knowledge is very limited. I want to know from you authentically who he is and why some people say bad about him. And also please mention if Shia’s have to do anything with this.
