The hadeeth of Abu Musa is authentic and it was authenticated by Imam Al Albani.
As for making Thikr in congregation, if this is only for the purpose of memorizing it and it is not related to after the 5 daily prayers and it is only until one memorizes it, this is permissible.
Otherwise, it is an innovation
