Drawing animated creatures is haraam, and he is prohibited from doing that.

Sheikh,A friend of mine has been a student of Digital Media and Arts,lately he’s been hesitant in carrying his work as a cartoonist since he got to know from someone of his profession being haram in the light of religion. Is working as an animator or a cartoonist permissible in Islam?
