No it’s not mandatory it is recommended.

Sheikh, when you read Quran and You come to a verse where you prostrate… Is it obligatory to prostrate?

If i am on my menses and i hear someone recite a verse of the qur’an which requires prostration do i prostrate to it at all? if so do i do it while on menses or after i have become clean?

Can you please explain 4th verse of surah talaq? First part speaks about old women but the middle part( those with no menses) speaks about whom?
