Salam is permissible, you should write the complete word.

Sheikh what’s is the ruling of writing “SALAM” when starting a chatting with a Muslim friend? and can I write Salam as Slm,  Wallah as Wlh,  Alhamdulillah as Alhmdl. With the hope my question is understood.

Do all the books of ibn Kathir include information from Christian and Jewish sources like “Qasas ul Anbiya”? I want to read “Ghazwat ul Rasul”, “Al-Sira Al-Nabawiyya”, and “Al Bidayah Wa Al Nihayah”. All these are by ibn Kathir. But it is confusing to me if there are citations other than Quran and Sunnah. Please advice.
