ANSWER:

Once you come to know the authentic sunnah about a particular issue you must follow it.

Sheikh, watching your videos has enlightened me a lot, but as someone born in Hanafi environment, i have caught a lot of things that contradict with the Sunnahs of Prophet especially in how to pray, after i watched your prophet’s way of praying video, it seems Hanafi has quite a few differences, now what to follow and what not to?

When I do something from other madhab, like reciting fatiha(quietely) being a muqtadiy, or raising hands before and after ruku they are sometimes very critical saying “in Hanafi madhab it is not permissable. If you’re from this madhab you should do everything according to it, and not pick and choose. Should I not do them even if hadiths are authentic, not to cause fitna?

Shaikh in subcontinent mostly all people follow the Madhab of Imam Abu Hanifa(May Allah have mercy on his soul),but they stick to it and not look QURAN and sunnah,even it goes against it,and people hardly find any person that follow Quran and sunnah,what should a layman do here,he go with what his laocal aalim tell him or if he find something opposite,is layman allow to contradict?
