Do your duty as his brother in islam and nothing more. Communicate with him according to his pace and comfort and give him space and freedom.

Sheikh, There is a good friend of mine, usually we dont meet now as we used to meet before due to lack of time. He has taught me about Islam especially salah, but he is moody, I sent him Islamic messages on whatsapp, he doesn’t reply not even on salam, I feel sad because I respect him, sheikh how to deal with this kind of person ?

Is there any authentic hadith that says “the sin committed against the right of a person is far greater than a sin committed against Allah swt?” it further said that sin committed against Allah might be forgive but the sin against one of his slaves will not be forgiven unless the person forgives himself. please tell me if there is anything closely related to this.
