ANSWER:

This is knowledge of the unseen and only Allah knows about it. No one is authorized to claim that this happened because Allah is angry with them and He is punishing them!

It can be a test for some and punishment for others.

Is there any way to escape from grave punishment? Do every single people need to suffer this? If not, which group in particular need to go through this?
