You have broken your promise to them and this is not from the characteristics of the believers. 

 

Sheikh….suppose i told to my relatives that i will have dinner with them….but my friends pressurized me to have dinner with them and i had dinner with my friends…. but if i informed the relatives that i am have having dinner with my friends…did i lie in the first place to my relatives because i couldnt keep my word.
