ANSWER:

It means that his recitation will take him high but there might be others who don’t memorize the Quran but are still higher than him. 

Sheikh, so basically im someone striving for jannat al ferdous, there is a hadith that says level in jannah will determined by how much you know the quran, does that mean we know to hafiz all the quran? Or the hadith means that we will read while seeing the verse?
