You need to be diplomatic and smart while dealing with them. Try to change the topic or leave to get some water when they start backbiting so that you won’t be there with them. 

Sheikh, my parents backbites about others 24/7.. Its difficult for me to defending others or to convince my parents not to do it. And my relation with my parents become worse for stay away from them for their backbiting.What should I do now? As hearing them, I m also become sinful.
