Sheikh, is it permissible to give Qurbani for the Prophet (PBUH)?

Sheik if a sister/brother or so was to have a dinner for their birthday, is it best not to go to the gathering? If yes, what should we tell them? That it is an innovation and the prophet peace be upon him didn’t celebrate his/or his companions birthdays?
