ANSWER:

Forgiveness is definitely best because if you forgive people, Allah will forgive your sins on the day of judgment. However, there’s no problem in seeking justice through legal means if you were wronged or praying against your oppressor. 

Sheikh is it best to forgive the person whose mischeif one has suffered from or to pray that may Allah azza wa jal take care of him/her?
