Sheikh, in my mother’s country, on the date of 18 Safar of every year they celebrate what they call “magal” in their language. This celebration is something related to the death of one of their pious leaders who has followed the Qur’an and Sunnah very well. They prepare for it so much than even Hajj; Is this something done in Islam or is it bidah too? Sheikh, please help as my mother’s gone too.
