You can give it where you are.

Sheikh, i stay in philippines but my hometown is india..can i give some of my zakah here as i know a person who is in need..or should i give in india only??

I have some relatives, they are really poor and need help. I buy raw food items (floor, cooking oil, sugar, bean…etc.) for them from my Zakat as when give them money they use it for unnecessary items

I want to know if we can give zakat money to flood people as if we give to some reliable organization and they buy food stuff and other things for them is it allowed to give zakat money to such organization for flood relief.these days there is a big flood. so i want to know if its allowed or no.
