Though the hadeeth was authenticated by Sheikh Al Albani, the other scholars say that this hadeeth is fabricated. These Sheikhs include Ibn Taimiyah, Ibn Al Qayyem, Ibn Bazz and Ibn Othaimeen. Their argument is based on the fact that this prayer was only reported through Al Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him and such a great prayer and great reward can not be ignored by the companions and we never heard that our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam had done it.
They also say that the reward of doing this prayer everyday is the same if you do it once in your life.
Beside all of that, the format of this prayer is not like any other prayer.
