It is more rewarding for a woman to pray in her home, however, it is highly recommended to take a bath for anyone attending congregational prayers (Jummah).  What you did was correct if her smell was harming you. You can address the sisters without specifying anyone and asking them to take care of their personal hygiene and that a Muslim must not be repulsive by smelling bad. 

Sheikh, I attend masjid near university in US its my only contact w Muslims here, nd my African housemates r hostile to nd curse the recitation of Quran in my online class nd threaten me. Today 1 sister came very late to khutbah nd started talking nd smelled so bad it gave me headache,clearly long since bath, so I moved to the other side of the row for the rest of the khutbah.
