No this is wrong he must take the appropriate means to get cured. Scholars say if a person puts his trust in Allah but he does not take the appropriate means then this is a not complete tawwakul, and if a person takes the appropriate means but does not put his trust in Allah the tawwakul is incomplete as well.

Shaykh, if a guy who is strong in tawhid, gets a disease, he knows for sure it has happened according to what Allah azza Wajal has decreed, he knows only Allah alone can cure him he does not go to a doctor nor took medicine, he depends completely on Allah azza Wajal & begging him to grant cure , is he doing right thing shaykh?

I want to ask; just as if one kills themselves tomorrow, even if they weren’t to kill themselves they would’ve died tomorrow anyway, whatever the means because it was in their Qadr. Therefore there’s no point in suicide. Similarly, is that the same with rizq? So if they take out haram money, even if they didn’t go through it the haram way,they would’ve received the same anyway?
