This has nothing to do with Islam and this is most likely a cultural thing taken from the Hindus.

Nevertheless, a girl should acknowledge that the role of a man is to be the breadwinner while the woman is destined to take care of her husband and children.

This is why in most cultures, a girl is brought up to perfect house chores while a boy takes the responsibility of working, earning and defending his family. 

Shaikh in India people don’t behave equally with their daughter and son.. Sons are treated as more superior leftover food should be eaten by only womens in the house.. No one care for a, women she just need to work even if she is tired.. And their is lot of injustice between son and daughter.. Is this right shaikh.. Please explain.. What i as a daughter should make myself
