A child must not be married against her will. There isn’t any specific age for marriage as ethnicities differ and the nature of women differ from one region to the other.

Recently Malaysia voted down a child marriage which is ridiculous. the sheikh said that girls as young as 9 are ready to marry. i wanted to ask what is the age of marriage for women in Islam. And how can she give her consent at such a young age?
