If the marriage conditions were fulfilled, the Walima is not one of them but it is Sunnah, therefore, their marriage is correct as long as there were witnesses.

Whether the Walima is done in his country or in her country, this is not an issue and all is permissible.

One of my friend married 3 month ago. its heppend on with walee. after her nikah 2 days later bride groom went abroad. they didnt live together . didt take waleema. there is no relationship with them. they talk with phone her problem is now boy call her to back his place. she decided to go their alone. she asked is it allowed in islam? he decided take waleema there. even her neighbour didnt know her marriage. she asked publicity is must in islam regarding a marriage. can she live with him there.
