Umar bin Al-Khattab was shown wearing a shirt that he was dragging.” The people asked, “How did you interpret it? (What is its interpretation) O Allah’s Apostle?” He (the Prophet (saw)) replied, “It is the Religion.”
Question asked was “Anybody can elaborate the meaning…why our prophet PBUH said that it is a Religion..what does it mean? I am sorry I do not get it..” So Sheikh could you please elaborate why did our beloved Prophet (saw) said it’s the religion, or actually our Prophet (saw) meant.

What a person sees in a dream is a metaphor of something else. All those whom the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam were wearing short shirts except Omer, may Allah be pleased with him. The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam interpreted this by saying that Omer has more faith and commitment to Islam than anyone else.
