Treat people as you like Allah to treat you.

Allah says: “Let not those among you who are endued with grace and amplitude of means resolve by oath against helping their kinsmen, those in want, and those who have left their homes in Allah’s cause: let them forgive and overlook, do you not wish that Allah should forgive you? For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” This ayah was revealed when Abu Bakr pledged not to support his cousin any more after he slandered his daughter, Aisha may Allah be pleased with her.

When Abu Bakr heard this ayah he said: by Allah, I want Him to forgive my sins. I will resume his financial support and will never stop it.

My younger brother did not give my right and did not respect me as elder brother. Now he is in bad situation and asking help from me. What shall I do? Shall I try to do help for him or shall I treat same way as he treated me?
