Mother Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her said that the women of Al Ansar used to attend Fajr and leave the masjid without anyone being able to recognize them (due to the darkness)
The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam used to start prayer early when it was dark (ghalas) while the companions didn’t know the one standing next to them.
