There isn’t anything from the Sunnah to back this up but some scholars say that this was reported by some of the Salaf and followers of the companions of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam. Therefore, it is permissible to use it.

I wanted to ask you if there is any good in doing qira. They would put their hand towards the sheikh and say Allah and people shouting from behind praising the sheikh and every second the host would say takbeer and the audience would say Allah Akbar,

Is it sunnah to say something before openning takbir, I heard some brothers to say something like Astagfirullah ?
