You should stand up for your wife with respect and while being dutiful
to your parents.

If they insult her in front of you do not take her to meet them as
this is not an obligation on her.

My parents and other family openly insult my wife and do not respect me as I earn much less than them but I do not shoult back out of respect for them as my parents n elders. I feel very upset that my wife has to go through this and guilty because I can’t help her here (May Allah reward her patience). However, is this fair? What are my rights as the youngest family member?

sheikh,I wish I didn’t have to complain about my in laws. It’s unethical I know. How do I deal with my mum & sis in law… they keep calling my mother up, spreading outragous lies about me at the say so of my psychopath husband.
