Keep bearing it with patience and don’t return any word to her. You may however talk to your husband and let him intervene to correct his mother’s behaviour. Also try to figure out what is it from your acts (if anything) that triggers her such behavior towards you. It might be best to convince your husband to take a separate accommodation for you.

My mother-in-law spreads lies about me in home and to my in-law relatives, and ignites hatred in the family which causes my father in law to stop talking to me several times.
