ANSWER:

She can write a will to give 1/3rd or less of her assets in charity after her death, this is permissible. But she cannot force any of her heirs to give in charity what they would possess after her death, this would be the property of the heirs after her death and they have all the right to do what they like with it. 

My mother has 3 daughters only.she has very little assets.can she instruct us to give most of it as sadqa jariy after her death?she has told us to take some of it.Is it permissable?she is not giving all of it now as she fears that she would need some funds unexpectedly may be like medical treatment.she doesn’t want to depend on us or our husbands
