ANSWER:

It is not permissible to follow such bidah, or be a part of them. Give advice in a diplomatic way to your husband and show him evidence of it. If they don’t want to listen, you have done your job. 

My mil do some traditional events, which are being followed in Pakistan, like milad, Quran khuwani, to give khair for the sake of imam. I used to make my husband understand that it is working in our islam. But nobody thinks rights. How I deal with them? And should I also follow them. As it’s inlaws issue.
