Do not make it a huge issue, you could host a big get together at your place and invite both the in-laws and your family at the same time. Or You could visit them the next day too.

Concentrate on creating a happy atmosphere rather than keeping score.

My husband wants us to celebrate Eid with his family and said that we will never celebrate Eid with my family as they are non Muslim and they only celebrated Eid for my sake (he meant my family doesn’t want to hurt me so they celebrated it for my sake). Is it wrong to celebrate Eid with my family? Or is it better to celebrate Eid with Muslims?

In order to maintain kinship is it ok to contact head of the family like to call aunt/uncle only for sula rehmi or I’ve to call individually all their children from the family like all my male/female couzins? Male couzins are non mehram for me.And Some of my female couzins are so modern they wont follow islam in dressing,making fun of others. So am I obliged to maintain kinship with such couzins?–
