It’s not permissible to use his money in any other way than what he gave it to you for! You are stealing his money and will not be rewarded for any penny you give as it is not yours and it is stolen money! 

My husband give me money to buy groceries for us &kids .but I keep that money with me .I will get groceries from rasion shop (bad quality groceries given by government to the poor freely).if he knows I am giving low quality food to the children and him he will be angry.but I will give that money to needy people without his knowledge .but he used to give me money separately to help.am I sinful?
