Please tell me which are the suras from the Holy Quran that a pregnant woman should read most during her pregnancy and what is the best practice that she can adhere to during this time? Are there some dua’s that are more advisable during pregnancy?

My friend is pregnant and she it telling me that her mother in law reads surah Mariam, surah Yusuf, 10 times surah Tin, then she blows over a glass of water and offers it to my friend to drink. Is this practice good and should she continue it or stop
