It isn’t allowed to sever the family ties. You should upkeep the ties of kinship. You can live in a separate place if you wish and afford and you are married. Leaving your parents when you are not married is not permissible.

My family is being very harsh to me, so can I leave them. We are not understanding each other, and they are even creating problems between me and my father?
