The things that you mentioned that people say must be avoided is totally baseless and has nothing to do with Islam.

My daughter attained puberty today. Is there anything specific to do or to avoid? Elders say that she shouldn’t be left alone even in a room, she shouldn’t go out anywhere, etc.. Please advise me of what should be done and what shouldn’t. I don’t want to miss anything.

I didn’t fast this Ramadan because I’m on medication for Tuberculosis. After that I couldn’t fast on the day of Arafah as I was on my period, and I might not be able to fast two days of Ashura because it will fall during my upcoming period. I feel very disappointed as I think of this as a very big missed opportunity and not deserving of forgiveness of my previous year’s sins. What should I do?
