ANSWER:

No problem in praying on the prayer mats. You must not associate these mats to be part of the religion as some people think or that it is something sacred. 

Ive seen your videos that say prayer mats are not a real concept in Islam, does that mean it is Bid’a to pray on one. If my family calls me to pray and the mats are already layed out should i go out of my way to pray on the floor instead, or if i am praying sunnah should i try to pray on floor and not on a carpet or prayer Mat.
