It is prohibited to have snakes.

As for wild animals, if there is no danger from them, this is permissible but it is a characteristic of people of dunya who waste their money over such things that would not bring them benefit or get them closer to Allah. Most likely, they are too dangerous and would harm the owner sooner or later.

it’s a common trend in many parts of the world for muslims to have felines such as cheetah and tigers as pets and even snakes like python. Is it allowed Islamically to have such animals as pets??
