One should recite suratul Baqarah in the new home and say the authentic duah; a’auothu bikalimatillahi attamati min sharri ma qhalak, 3 times.

If he was to invite friends and loved ones to a walimah, this is permissible as well.

Is there anything in islam to perform when one shifts to a new home.pls enlighten with the etiquettes of shifting to a newly constructed home
