This is a major sin.


    It was narrated that Ma’qil ibn Yassaar said: the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “For one of you to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle is better for him than that he should touch a woman who is not permissible for him.” Narrated by al-Tabaraani in al-Kabeer, 486.

Is shaking hands with a non Mahram considered a minor sin or major sin since it is not done for sexual desire? But I understand that this is haram.

I was sad due to waswas and sins. My grandma asked about my worries and I shouted in anger and sad about waswas. She told we are reciting Qur’an, Dhikr and doing good things to recover from it. I shouted at her again, hen what is the change?After sometime I understood what I said and corrected myself. But is this saying “What is the change after these good things” have a bad meaning about the power of Qur’an? Will it affect my Iman?

An employer found out that his worker has been stealing money from his business for some time. Though he has not caught him red handed, the overwhelming circumstantial evidences leaves no doubt at all about the thefts. However the worker stubbornly refused to admit his wrongdoing. What is the Islamic ruling if the employer straightaway cut the wages of the worker to cover his loss due to the theft as it would not be worth the trouble to bring the case to the court ?
