This is true, she is not required to do any household chores for them, she is not their slave or servant.

Is my mom wrong if she expects her daughter in law to help her in every household chores..I heard from a speaker that,in Islam daughter in laws should be respectful and courteous towards their in laws..she will not be held responsible if she is not obedient towards them..is this correct? And Can u please shed some light on responsibility of daughter in laws towards her in laws

Brother of my husband had posted some pics of my daughter on facebook when she was 6 months. when I asked him to remove he became stubben & said no matter what he will never remove and whenever he feels like posting he will and which he actually did also. my husband’s family backed him up. my husband stoped him at first but to avoid any kind of bad environment at home my husband kept quiet later times and asked me to be patient and let him do whatever he want.

Alhamdulillah my mother in law is causing alot of problems for me. Please i want to know what rights she has when it comes to our children. She always gets angry because i dont like my 3 year old daughter to be eating sweets all the time. Does she have rights to be able to do whatever she wants when it comes to our children even if i dont agree to it?
