There is no such thing as a Wahabi sect in Islam. In saheeh Muslim, mother Aisha was asked about the Prophet’s night prayer in Ramadan. She said: he didn’t pray in Ramadan or other than Ramadan more than 11 Rakah. I don’t know if your friends would also label mother Aisha as Wahabi! The difference between us and them is that we follow the sunnah and they don’t like this!

Is it wrong to pray 8 rakahs of tarawih? Is it important to pray 20 rakahs? A lot of people say u are a wahabi and going against sunnah of prophet(SAW) by praying 8 rakahs. And they also say in makkah and madinah they pray 20 rakahs?
