One shouldn’t pray at a masjid of the Shi’ah as this gives them credibility and people would think bad of you and you would also be enlarging their numbers.
But if this is a one incident that you saw people praying and you prayed behind such an Imam and you didn’t hear him say anything that nullifies Islam, it is permissible to pray behind him this once.
