The Sunnah is not disclose your plans or all of Allah’s blessings upon you so that you wouldn’t get an evil eye.
You have to have a real good balance between keeping things private and limited to your love ones and from being paranoid of evil eye.
As long as you are maintaining the Ath’kar, you shouldn’t worry about evil eye and you should at the same time only tell those who love you and care for you.
